Amity provides a number of managed properties. Managed properties are predefined picklists associated with specific entity types.
The following entities have managed properties, which this article will cover:
- Accounts
- Engagements
- People
- Tasks
The picklist items in each managed property can be modified, enabled, or disabled.
Account managed properties
The account entity has the following managed properties:
- Lifecycle Stage
- Priority Level
- Region
- Risk Level
- Role
- Tier
- Type
Note that the Priority Level and Risk Level picklists have a fixed size. New items cannot be added to these properties. You can, however, change the names of the levels.
To modify these managed properties:
- Navigate to the Settings app and click on Accounts under the Configuration heading.
- Click on the Managed Properties tab.
- Click on the name of the property you wish to change.
- Make your changes and click Save in the top right.
Engagement managed properties
The engagement entity has one managed property:
- Topics
To modify these managed properties:
- Navigate to the Settings app and click on Engagements under the Configuration heading.
- Click on the name of the property you wish to change.
- Make your changes and click Save in the top right.
Person managed properties
The engagement entity has one managed property:
- Roles
To modify these managed properties:
- Navigate to the Settings app and click on People under the Configuration heading.
- Click on the name of the property you wish to change.
- Make your changes and click Save in the top right.
Task managed properties
The task entity has the following managed properties:
- Stages
- Types
Because a task's stages are clearly defined (Not Started, In Progress, etc.), one must always be checked as Completed. Without it, tasks cannot be archived.
Similarly, some tasks must be started in order to move through the stages. For example, Started tasks are those under In Progress, Waiting For, and Completed.
To modify these managed properties:
- Navigate to the Settings app and click on People under the Configuration heading.
- Click on the name of the property you wish to change.
- Make your changes and click Save in the top right.
