This article covers predefined and custom reporting periods, which are available in Amity reports. Reporting periods allow you to sort information using specific date ranges, such as within the last 7 days or the previous month.
Note: Unless otherwise notes, Amity will use the the workplace timezone for reporting periods.
Predefined Periods
Predefined reporting periods are date ranges Amity has built into the system for you.
For all operators regarding the last ‘n’ days/months and ‘this’ period (i.e. this week, month, quarter, and year), the range includes the current day in your results.
The examples below describe the reporting period as if “today” were June 12, 2018.

Custom Period
A custom range allows you to select the start and end dates of a period from a datepicker.
The result starts at 12:00 AM on the selected 'From' date and continues up to 11:59 PM on the selected 'To' date. For example, if the selected date range is from March 1, 2018 to April 1, 2018, the reporting period will be from March 1, 2018 at 12:00 AM to April 1, 2018 at 11:59 PM.
Note: The datepicker only shows range of dates for the last reporting period you were on. For example, if you were last on “Previous quarter”, you can only select a date range from January 1, 2018 at 12:00 AM to March 31, 2018 at 11:59 PM (such as in the above example).
