This article explains the two ways to override an account’s health using insights:
- By temporarily removing an insight from the account’s health.
- By creating a manual insight that will affect the account's health.
Temporarily remove an insight
Sometimes, a circumstance can negatively affect an account's health when it shouldn't, such as a customer on vacation causing low engagement. To solve this issue, you can temporarily override the insight being affected, so the account's health is more accurate.
- Navigate to the Accounts app.
- Select the company whose health you want to change.
- On the right side under Health, click the action menu of the insight you want to override.
- Click the field that says, "Remove until" to choose an end date.
- Select a date on the calendar.
- Write an explanation for the manual override, so others know why the insight was edited.
- Click Save to implement the override.
- You will see the account's health change.
Add a manual insight
Sometimes, a circumstance should negatively affect an account's health but it doesn't because it's not an automated insight, such as your champion leaving your customer's company and you want this to show low health in Amity. To solve this issue, you can create a manual insight and apply it to the affected account to degrade the health.
Step 1: Create a manual insight
- Navigate to the Settings app.
- Click on Insights under the Automation tab.
- Click the grey plus button.
- Select ‘Manual’ as the method and fill out the required fields.
- Click Create in the top right to save the insight.
Step 2: Associate the manual insight with a health level
The insight must be associated with a health level in order to affect account health.
- Click on Health under the Automation tab.
- Locate your new manual insight in the ‘Unassigned’ section.
- Click on the Level drop-down list of the insight.
- Click on the health level (such as Yellow) that you want the insight to be associated with.
- Click Save on the top right.
Step 3: Add the insight to an account
- Navigate to the Accounts app.
- Locate the account who lost their champion.
- On the right side, click the Health section’s action menu.
- Select ‘Add Insight’.
- In the pop-up modal, locate your insight and check the ‘Select’ button.
- Write an explanation for why you’re adding the insight to this account.
- Click Add.
