Amity has the ability to track email delivery status, opens, and link clicks. Indicators display the status and counts on the engagement card.
To track an email opens, Amity embeds an invisible 1x1 pixel image into the message. When the recipient opens the email, the image will load and the Amity software will increment the count.
Open counts can be higher than expected if the recipient's email client has a preview feature. Every time the email appears in the preview, it may be counted as an open.
The open count may be zero if the recipient views the email as plain-text or image loading is disabled in their email client. It is also possible that a company firewall may filter the invisible pixel from the email.
Email tracking is only available on emails that were sent by Amity after October 3, 2018.
